DAY 1: FLIGHT TO LIMA, PERU
Board your flight to Lima, Peru, meet your Local Trip Expert/Guide and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy your evening before embarking on this amazing adventure.
Overnight: Lima
DAY 2: LIMA
Embark on a Lima City Tour featuring the Plaza Mayor, official center of the city
and the original site upon which Lima
was founded. Also see the Cathedral,
the Presidential Palace, the Church of
San Francisco & visit the fascinating Archaeological Museum. Enjoy lunch at the famous, Rosa Nautica Restaurant. This afternoon explore Lima on your own. This evening enjoy a Local ‘Casa’ Hosted Dinner & Cocktail.

DAY 3: LIMA - CUZCO - URUBAMBA
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cuzco, an Andean community and former ancient capital of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, transfer to the Sacred Valley for
a two night stay. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax & acclimate as you are now at an altitude of 8500 feet. We recommend minimal activity and the plentiful local remedy of coca tea.

DAY 4: URUBAMBA VALLEY
Depart for the Urubamba Valley to the local village of Pisac, known for its colorful market. Try your hand at bartering for local sweaters, ponchos, wall hangings & jewelry. Also visit the Awanakancha Breeding Center where Llamas, Alpacas, Guanacos & Vicunas are bred. Continue to the massive Ollantaytambo Fortress. This formidable stone structure climbs massive terraces & was the valley’s main defense.

DAY 5: URUBAMBA - MACHU PICCHU
Board the Vistadome Train for Machu Picchu and begin your exploration of the legendary “Lost City of the Incas”. On your guided Machu Picchu Excursion explore
the ancient city’s ruins as you visualize the lives of the priests, craftsmen & servants who inhabited the site. Machu Picchu is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was not modern day accessible until the 1940’s when the Inca Trail was discovered by an archeological expedition. Enjoy Lunch at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge.

DAY 6: MACHU PICCHU - CUZCO
This morning enjoy a bit of leisure time. Maybe return to Machu Picchu for a final visit where you can enjoy a short hike or
further explore the incredible ruins at your own pace. Later enjoy the return Train experience to Cuzco. Enjoy dinner at your hotel tonight.
