DAY 1: ARRIVE WASHINGTON DC AREA
Today arrive in the Washington DC area and meet your Tour Director. Later check into your Washington DC area hotel for your first of two three-night stays. This evening meet your fellow travelers for a Welcome Dinner.

DAY 2: WASHINGTON DC SIGHTSEEING
This morning visit Arlington National Cemetery to see the Kennedy Grave Sites and famous Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Later enjoy a Washington DC City Tour to see many of the city’s major highlights including the World War II, Iwo Jima, Korean & Vietnam War Memorials, Capitol Hill and Embassy Row. Make a stop for great views and photos of the White House. Tonight enjoy a DC Twilight Illumination Tour of the famous monuments including those dedicated to Lincoln & Jefferson.
(B) Overnight: Washington DC area
DAY 3: U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY - SMITHSONIAN
This morning travel to Annapolis to tour the U.S. Naval Academy. Established in 1845, the Naval Academy is the undergraduate college for the Navy and prepares young men 81
and women to become professional officers in the U.S. Navy & Marine Corps. Later visit the world’s greatest and largest museum, the Smithsonian Institution. Comprised
of several spacious museum buildings, the Institution features the well known Air & Space, American History and Natural History Museums among others. Tonight enjoy dinner on your own.
(B) Overnight: Washington DC area
DAY 4: MOUNT VERNON - RICHMOND - WILLIAMSBURG
Enjoy breakfast then travel to Mount Vernon, President George Washington’s beautiful estate overlooking the Potomac River. The “Father of Our Country” called Mt. Vernon home for more than 45 years. Tour the house and gardens and visit the grave site of our first President. Later drive to Richmond to see Virginia’s capital and once the capital of the Confederacy. This afternoon arrive in Williamsburg for a three night stay to explore incredible Colonial highlights.

DAY 5: JAMESTOWN - YORKTOWN
Today a short ride brings you to Jamestown, founded in 1607 as the first permanent English settlement in the New World. Visit the restored full-scale Jamestown Settlement.
Later visit Yorktown, where British commander Lord Cornwallis surrendered to Washington’s troops in 1781. Recount the final days of the Revolution at the Yorktown Victory Center featuring exhibits and costumed interpreters recreating era daily life.
