Yenton Primary Newsletter week beginning 27th April 2020 Dear families... This week has seen a lot of change in all of our schools across the Multi Academy Trust with the launch of virtual classrooms, staff videos and the remote marking of your child’s work twice a week. Feedback from many of you has, so far, been extremely positive and we’ve seen lots of wonderful examples of work the children have submitted. We know that when we launch any new approach, especially one that is IT related, it can cause stress and anxiety as people get to grips with how to use it and so we want to thank you for embracing this change and running with it. Over the days and weeks that we use the virtual classrooms and get to know the technology better, we believe that there will be many positive benefits to this approach. We also envisage, moving forwards, that some of the technology we use now will go on to become a new feature of how we work, even after we have emerged from the Coronavirus. Hopefully you will have also noticed that The Learning Projects have been revamped and tweaked following parental feedback - we did our very best to take onboard all of your feedback and we hope you like the results. Many, many staff have worked hundreds of hours to put this resource together and so we would like to officially thank them for their hard work and commitment - we have a truly wonderful set of staff across our schools and time and time again they go above and beyond.
