  2 MESSAGE
2022 is becoming the “cause and effect” election. After a year of holding unified power in Washington, Democrats will face backlash as voters experience the direct effects of liberal policies in their lives. CLF will show voters the clear connection between ideas like “defund the police,” which set off a massive crime wave, and their push for trillions in new spending, which has set off inflation, among other destructive ideas causing harm to working families. We will hold each and every target Democrat Member accountable with the most effective messages in their district.

   3 RETIREMENTS
CLF is utilizing research, press, and paid media to engineer more Democrat retirements in targeted races—and it is already paying off as more and more incumbent Democrats have decided not to seek reelection. This reduces the cost needed to win races if we can face a new challenger rather than a well-funded incumbent.
4 REDISTRICTING
Republicans
187 Seats
Split Control or Commission 193 Seats
The 2020 Census shifted seats away from Democrat strongholds like
New York, Illinois, and California, to Republican strongholds like Texas and
Florida. Additionally, Republicans have unified government control over the redistricting process in 20 states vs just 11 for the Democrats, giving Republicans an advantage in the redrawing of Congressional lines.
