was an extremely aggressive form of cancer. Additionally, the surgery left her bedridden and paralyzed on her left side Her prognosis is Stage IV brain cancer and she is not expected to make it through the year.
My in-laws live in Indiana al- most exactly five hours from where we are in Ohio. That makes it not too far for weekly trips, but it still is a lot of driving for a day and a half visit. Many of you also know that my wife, Natalie, is a CPA and Jan- uary through April 15 is the worse time of year for her or any CPA for that matter to be taking off work. Thankfully, she has a very support- ive employer who understands that family is more important than tax forms. Unfortunately, my schedule won’t allow me to accompany her on most visits.
I’ve got a huge bird job that needs fixed, a father that thinks he can still do everything he did when he was 50 (while it was my mother that had the issue, he wasn’t able to due stuff behind my back as he needed to be around for her, but since she’s much better, he’s back to his old farmer ways), a back that won’t let me sleep, work off ladders, or lift any decent amount of weight, and a family issue that needs me to be available for my wife as much as possible. So to say my stress level is at an all time high, is just about right.
Why am I sharing all of this? Quite simply, I wanted everyone to know that my free time is more than limited. If you need to contact me, I’d appreciate an email over a phone call as I just don’t have the time to chat. And if it takes me a bit to get back with you, please under- stand that I’m working as fast as possible. Also, it would be a great help if everyone would renew their subscriptions without needing me to send an invoice as I don’t know

when I’ll get around to that.
The subscription expiration date is on the top line of the ad- dress label. If you don’t see it and you need to know when you’re sub-
scription is up, shoot me an email at editor@wctmagazine.com, but please understand if it takes me a bit to get back with you. n
