Rooted in truth and reconciliation, Canadore College partners with employers and industry to ensure seamless transitions from school to meaningful work experiences.
Like many other northern communities, the Indigenous population in North Bay continues to grow. While the average Indigenous population in cities remains steady at approximately 2.2%, the numbers in North Bay and many other northern communities are closer to 10% or higher.
We know many of our graduates are going to work in a wide range of settings so we work with employers to ensure cultural competency and to provide one-of-a-kind hands-on learning opportunities for students.
At Canadore, we know a student’s journey doesn’t end at graduation! We work hard to provide opportunities and connections to employers that will bring students closer to exciting new careers.
