• ON 04/05/2016, DISTRICT- VISHAKHAPATNAM, PS- MAMPA, PLACE- PALASMUDRAM
An exchange of fire took place between Police Parties and extremists, resulting in the death of three extremists (VRL Gopal @ ' Azad, Dm, Jalumuri Venkateswar Rao 8 Anand, ACM and Kamala, ACM) . Police recovered AX 47 (I), SLRs (2), 9 mm pistol (I), loaded magazines of SLR (I), loaded magazines of AK-47 rifle (3), live ammunition of 9 mm pistol (10 rounds), Hand grenade (2), directional mine (I), pin type grenades (2), camera flash (I), WT sets (2). electrical wire (3 bundles), tab (11, cell, phones (2), printed maoist literature (1 bundle), cash Rs. 2402/- and other daily need items from the site of encounter.
• ON 28/12/2015, DISTRICT-EAST GODAVARI, PS-CHINTURU, PLACE-MALLAMPETA
An encounter broke out between Greyhounds and Maoists and resulting in the death of one maoist Comdr. Kaluma Chukka @ Nagesh, Secy. Sabari Area Committee. One Pistol recovered.
• ON 12/09/2014-DISTRICT-VISAKHAPATNAM, PS-MAMPA, PLACE-VEMANNAPALEM
Armed extremists killed one Muvvala Naresh (ex-Maoist Cadre) branding him to be a Police Informer.
• ON 19/06/2014-DISTRICT-PRAKASAM, PS-PULLALACHERUVU, PLACE-SATHAKODU
An encounter took place between the Police and the extremists, resulting in the death of three extremists (Jana Babu Rao, Vimalakka and Sarada @ Bharathi w/o Jana Babu Rao).
