3. Press seams to triangles.
4. Trim to measure 60. Do not over trim 1/40 seams at the corners. Make [18] Gold and [28] Teal blocks.
5. Set aside [4] Gold and [4] Teal blocks. You will also set aside [6] Red triangles and [10] postcard toss triangles for side borders.
The remaining blocks and triangles will be the top and bottom borders surrounding the center panel.
Top Pieced Border:
Refer to Diagram 1 for construction of rows. Following directions below, sew rows 1 through 7. Sew rows together as you make them. Rows lay on the diagonal, refer to finished layout.

1. Sew a Gold block to the top of a Teal. Press seam open.
2. Sew a red triangle to the bottom of the Teal at right angle. Press to the triangle.
Rows #6

2. Sew rows onto Rows 1-2-3.
Sew a Vintage Postcard Toss triangle to top of Teal block. Add Gold block, then Teal block, just as before referring to Diagram 1.
Note: If using store patches take care they are not upside down.

1. Sew a Teal block on top and bottom of Gold block and a Red triangle to bottom of teal block.
2. Sewrow1torow2.
Row #3
1. Sew a Vintage Postcard
Toss triangle to the top of
a Gold block (make a left
angle). Add Teal block to bottom
of Gold block; add Red triangle to Teal block.
2. Sew row 3 to rows 1-2.
Rows #4 and #5
1. Repeat instructions from Row 3. 2. Sew rows onto Rows 1-3.
Rows #7
1. Sew Vintage Postcard Toss triangle to Teal block. Add a Gold block. Press seams open.
2. Sew row onto Rows 1-6.
3. Sew the top border section to the prepared Center panel along the red triangle edge.
Note: Mark the center of panel and the center of top border piece; line up and pin pieces starting
at center and work out in both directions easing pieces to line up when sewing. See Diagram below.
Bottom Pieced Border:
1. Sew together same as top border except Red triangle sews on the top of Row with Postcard Toss triangle on the bottom of Row.
2. Sew this bottom border section to bottom of Postcard panel along the red triangles. Press seam open.

Left Side Pieced Border:
Use the set aside gold, teal blocks and triangles pieces from start. Sew rows together as you piece.
1. Sew together same as top border except Red triangle sews on the top of Row with Postcard Toss triangle on the bottom of Row.
