Module 3: Learning to Write Teacher’s Guide.
Objective: To identify the letters in each animal category
Lesson Plan:
Help the children to turn to the summary page at the front of their Letter and Sound Workbooks.
Independent ‘have a go’ work
• After each category of letters is complete ask the children to colour in the letters that make up the animal family.
• Ask the children to count how many letters there are in each family and write the number in the box.
• Repeat this process for each animal category.
More to Learn:
Strengthen the child’s learning by adding a quantity to each group and help recall by using the visual grid.
Support:
Make sure the information is not visible to the child in the classroom.
