Module 3: Learning to Write Teacher’s Guide.
Objective: To write all Georgia the Shetland Pony’s capital letters
Lesson Plan:
Provide each child with page 155 - 156 of the Activities Manual or IWB305.
1. Demonstrate to the children on the interactive whiteboard that capital letters are ALL the size of Harriet the cow.
2. Capital letters are made up of straight and curved lines that fit together.
Independent have a go work
Instruct the children to trace over the sample letter and then complete a line of each letter.
Encourage the children to make sure all the letters reach up towards the cloud.

More to Learn:
Teach the capital letters in family groups. Encourage the children to match the capital letter with the lower case cursive letter cards.
Support:
Make sure that extra visual information is visible in the classsroom for the children.
