KAN-NAGARA TAMACHI HA-E-MASE KAN-NAGARA TAMACHI HA-E-MASE
(The Amatsu Norito Prayer is an old Japanese prayer which is said to have been composed over 3000 years ago. The author is unknown. Translated, it means the Prayer of Heaven. In reality, it is as much a chant as a prayer.
It is a simple prayer of purification which asks God to cleanse the spiritual realm by dispelling negative clouds. Here we ask God to protect us and bless us with supreme happiness. We end the prayer by saying twice, "Kan-nagara tama-chi ha-e-mase". This means, "In accordance with Thy Will, give expansive radiance to our souls.")
