CONTEMPORARY ART FAIR - ART RUSSIA AND INTERNATIONAL ART FORUM FEBRUARY 20-23
MOSCOW, GOSTINY DVOR
February 20 to 23, 2020 in Moscow, at one of the central exhibition venues of the city, in Gostiny Dvor, the largest contemporary art fair, Art Russia, will be held for the first time.
The fair will feature an exhibition of sculptures by the world-famous sculptor Lorenzo Quinn, the son of a Hollywood actor Anthony Quinn from a private collection. Lorenzo’s sculptures are inspired by the work of great artists such as Michelangelo and Bernini.
More than 80 Russian artists, galleries and educational programs will present their personal stands at the fair.
As part of the Art Russia fair, a large-scale international Art Forum will be held, addressing the deve- lopment of the modern art market, Russia’s position on the cultural map of the world, and innovative approaches to promoting Russian art and culture in world society.
SPECIAL INVITED GUESTS OF THE FAIR WILL BE:
• Herve Mikaeloff is an independent art consultant and curator of every art projects and collabora- tions for Louis Vuitton, Moët and Hennessy. A graduate of the l’Ecole du Louvre in Paris. Herve worked at Fondation Cartier for Contemporary Art, Gallery Emmanuel Perrotin and the French edition l’Officiel Art.
• Joachim Pissarro is the great-grandson of one of the founders of the school of impressionists, the famous French artist Camille Pissarro. Joachim was the curator of the exhibitions of such famous artists as Jeff Koons, Lorenzo Quinn, George Condo. He is currently working on a catalog of the Jeff Koons catalog and is preparing the exhibition of Jeff Koons in Florence.
• Kevin Eboche is an Irish concept artist, known for his work in photography, sculpture, installation, arti- ficial intelligence, blockchain, cinema, and selling photo of potato for a million euros. In addition, he is known for his portraits of the most influential people in Silicon Valley. The photo of Johnny Depp made Kevin famous around the world.
Other speakers of the fair: Luis Bernardo Brito, Jeffrey Taylor, Aureli Julien, Sylvan Levy, Bertrand Scho- ller, Kari Conte, Christina Steinbreher and many others.
