Hollow Knight
Hollow Knight is a 2017 Metroidvania style video game.
It was developed and published by Team Cherry.
The game was released for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux in 2017, and for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2018.
The game tells the story of an insectoid Knight on a quest to uncover the secrets of the long-abandoned insect kingdom of Hallownest, whose haunting depths draw in the adventurous and brave with promises of treasures and answers to ancient mysteries. To progress through the game, the Knight must cross areas in a nonlinear fashion, as well as find and fight bosses, which grant them additional abilities.
