The largest collection of LEGO sets in a private collection is 3,837, achieved by Frank Smoes from Melbourne, Australia.
The collection, which features in the #GWR2019 book, has at least 1.2 million individual bricks and pieces, and contains over 8,000 Lego MiniQigures. Frank was fascinated with LEGO from an early age. "In the late 1950s I was introduced to the interlocking bricks and a new adventure began. Now I could
connect the blocks in ways I had never experienced before and my imagination was the only limit. From ancient Egypt to the Moon, and human adventure could be simulated using LEGO."
