Gemini has its own color lab where we utilize a sophisticated Pantone Matching System (PMS) for paint matching and paint mixing. By using the lab’s color meter on specific swatches or samples, Gemini technicians are able to collect data on the exact wavelengths of light reflected from the sample. The data is fed into a computer that selects the correct mix of pigments. The new paint formula is tested by the color meter to verify that it is a match. Once confirmed, the formula is sent to the Gemini plant where the products are being manufactured. We can also match specific paint colors by using an individual paint company’s numbers or names.

Multi-color Pieces
Gemini uses laser and CNC technology to produce multi-color pieces that have clean lines and sculpted faces if required. All colors are the same baked acrylic polyurethane paints that come with Gemini’s Lifetime Guarantee. Allowing Gemini
to produce multi-color pieces means that you have no vinyl application, messy paint set-ups, or PMS matching issues in your shop. One piece construction simplifies installation and optimizes the 3-D effect of your designs.

One piece embossed logo - custom painted
This CAR QUEST design was formed in white CAB plastic and painted with two different PMS colors. The mold for this piece was made to provide an additional 3-D effect for the letters and panels.
