Vanguard
Vanguard is a productive main season intermediate yellow variety. Vanguard produces jumbo to colossal size, bronze colored, uniform bulbs that make it an option for processing or for fresh market.
Acadia is an early season yellow intermediate variety that produc- es a large and attractive bronze globe. It has the characteristic Celebrate plant structure of a firm and upright plant with deep green leaves and a strong bolting tolerance. A high percentage of single centers and colossal size make Acadia a good processing option.
Avalon is a very sturdy, yet flexible, late intermediate Spanish on- ion. This variety allows a smooth transition from intermediate to long day varieties. Growers enjoy the ease of the Celebrate plant structure, the size potential, single centers, and the nice firm bulb that it produces. The grower also has the option of mechanical harvesting with Avalon.
Avenger is a very consistent producer of single centers and uni- form well shaped bulbs. It is known as a good early yielder that finishes with a nice rich bronze skin.
