HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM
Custom AMX System with (12) Lifestyles (Whole house control) with Capture and Play technology and individual control over audio, video, shades, and lighting. All of the head-end equipment is located in a rollout rack near the study. This rack contains all power conditioning, network switching and other connections to support the subsystems listed below. Control is via iPads with AMX app.
AUDIO SYSTEM
Streaming music server (Spotify, Pandora, etc) with two outputs to eight music zones throughout the home. Audio from video sources also available for playback in these zones. Control is via local room keypads and the AMX system.
VIDEO SYSTEM
Five 1080P sources routable to any of the six TVs located throughout the home w/dedicated custom remotes for each room. Current sources are Comcast HDTV (3), Apple TV and Blu-Ray Player. TVs are located in the dining room, living room, study, guest bedroom (on lift), master bedroom and master bathroom. Control is via local custom remotes and the AMX system.
SHADE SYSTEM
Lutron QS blackout shades in each bedroom and the study area. Lutron QS sheer shades in all other areas. Seven controlled shades in all. Shades can be controlled via AMX or on Lutron keypad for that room.
LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM
Lutron QS lighting control system with (75) controlled lighting loads and custom engraved and programmed keypads throughout the home. There are also motion activated lights in the master closet and storage closet. Lights can be controlled via AMX or on Lutron keypad for that room.
WIRED AND WIFI SYSTEM
There are wired network jacks in every room either by the TV, desk or nightstand area. The WiFi signal is available in all rooms and there is a separate guest WiFi network setup for guest access.The system supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks.
