BUTER’S PANTRY connects the Hallway to the Kitchen. The Pantry has a full size SubZero wine refrigerator as well as an ice maker and under counter refrigerator. A pair of Fisher Paykel dishwashers come in very handy! The counters and sink, like the island counter in the kitchen, is flamed granite.
THE KITCHEN features a marble tiled floor that accentuates the black and white theme of the room. Side by side SubZero refrigerator/freezer units reside behind handsome black cabinetry, two Wolf ovens reside in the large island and a Wolf five burner cooktop is anchored by a large vent hood. There are also two Wolf warming ovens. The island is flamed granite and the rest of the countertops and the large sink are durable, white porcelain. There is a Miele dishwasher and coffee maker as well as a microwave oven. White cabinets are double stacked and provide plenty of storage. There is a large window near the sink as well as leaded glass windows to the laundry room and the air shaft. There is space to “eat-in” as well a service door that conveniently leads to the back hallway.
A LAUNDRY ROOM is off the Kitchen. Side by side Electrolux washer and dryer are under the veined quartz countertop. The same countertop material is used on the sill under the large window. Industrial lighting, a period faucet and a Kohler under-mound sink are also featured. A train rack provides a handy place to hang coats and allows to room to also function as a mud room.
