Prerequisites:
Spanish for Spanish Speakers 1 A/B is the first year of a sequence of a college Preparatory reading-based foreign language course designed to meet the needs of students who speak Spanish and who require additional formal instruction to develop their literacy to an optimum level. By integrating the complex nature of language acquisition and the multiple elements of language use in a comprehensive program of thinking, listening, speaking, and writing activities, students perfect their ability to communicate in a second language.
