Herald staff report
After more than a year of inter- mittent operation, the Sanger Police Department Traffic Safety Unit is back up and running full time. That's the message on Sanger PD's Facebook page.
The traffic safety unit is composed of two full-time motor officers and a sergeant, who oversees operations.
Sgt. Joshua Johnson and officers Noel Johnson and Agustin Villatoro are committed to reducing collisions and in- creasing the overall public safety in the City of Sanger, said police chief Silver Rodriguez.
"It is the mission of the Sanger Police Department Traffic Safety Unit to provide quality and professional traf- fic safety services, through education,
engineering and enforcement. Sgt. Johnson encourages the community to get involved and report traffic-related concerns so that he can investigate the complaints and ensure the appropriate actions are taken," said Rodriguez.
A tip line at (559) 875-8522 ext. 5305 has been set up for you to report traffic concerns.
