Leona Davis
The holy rosary will be recited for Ms. Leona Eleanor Da- vis of Fresno at 7 p.m. on April 26 at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home and a funeral mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on April 27 at St. Mary's New Catholic Church in Sanger.
Ms. Davis, 93, died April 14, 2018. She was a caregiver.
She is survived by son Ernest Garcia of Fresno; brother Dan Davis of Sycamore; sister Adeline Charley of Dunlap; and grandchild Briana Garcia.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on April 26 at the funeral

Romana Garza
A rosary and funeral mass for Mrs. Romana Garza of Sanger are scheduled for 10 a.m. on April 30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church on O Street in Sanger.
Mrs. Garza, 89, died April 20, 2018. She was a homemaker.

Steven Lee Strope
Steven Lee Strope was born to Elmer and Bertha Strope in Sanger, Ca on Janu- ary 28, 1952, and went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2018.
In 1980 he met and married the love of his life, Debra Dhillon, after a whirlwind courtship of 4 months.
Steven taught high school for 34 years, coaching track, wrestling, and football for many of them.
Steven was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother and will forever live on in our hearts.
He is survived by Debra, his loving wife of 37 years, son Matthew and his wife Lauren, daughter Sarah, son Jonathan, brothers DeWayne, Bill, and Dick, and sisters Jennifer and Julie. Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 30 at 1:00 pm at Sanger Cemetery. www.tinklerfuneralchapel. com
Charles (Charlie) Shirinian
Charlie Shirinian was born on March 28, 1932 in Sanger, Ca. and passed away on April 20, 2018 at the age of 86. He was the son of Roupen and Ramala Shirin- ian He was the fourth of 5 siblings. He attended local schools in Sanger, and graduated from Sanger High in 1950. He joined the Air Force in May of 1951, and was honorably discharged in 1955.
He attended Reedley College as an Education Major & Art Minor, receiving his AA degree. He went to Fresno State University to complete his education as a
school teacher (ART) and decided to drop school after 1 1/2 years at Fresno State and transferred to S.F. State, but got sidetracked and worked at a sign shop. He liked sign painting, and made it his career. He also took care of his ailing mother. He worked a short period at the IRS, and retired after his employment at Tarbob Warehouse. He was a story teller and like telling jokes. He was liked by all. He will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Harry Shirinian; sisters, Roxie Shamlian, Victoria Shirinian. He is survived by sister Jessie Rizzi, and nieces and nephews; Dr. Dennis & Rita Shamlian, Janet & Vahan Ishkanian, Debra & Ralph Abajian, Randall Alan Shirinian & sister in-law Liz Shirinian; great nieces and nephew; Dr. Emily Ishkanian, Al- lison Ishkanian, Dr. Chris and Cheryl Shamlian, Matt and Megan Abajian, Michael Abajian, Dr. Tamara Shamlian, Dr’s Adrina and Michael Gulian, cousin Julie and Bob Kellejian, Anna Da Silva, Jack and John Terzian; great-great niece; An- nabel Shamlian, great-great nephews Cy, Nolan and Caleb.
Grave Side services and burial will be held at the Ararat Ar- menian Cemetery on Thursday, April 26, at 10:30a.m., 1925 W. Belmont, Fresno, CA.

Susan Richburg
A memorial service for Ms. Susan Richburg of Sanger will be held at 1 p.m. on April 28 at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home.
Ms. Richburg, 67, died April 16, 2018. She was a nurse.
She is survived by son Larry Patterson of Eureka; daugh- ters Paula Mallette of Sanger; Sherry Gann of Fresno and Tammy Kolii of Oregon; brothers Denis Cooney of Napa and Louis Caldera of Montana; 11 grandchildrenp; and five great grandchildren.

The City of Sanger is accepting applications to fill 3 positions on the Citizen’s Oversight Committee – Measure S. The Citizen’s Oversight Committee meets regularly on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm in the City Hall Council Chamber.

Billy Waid Blagg
Billy Waid Blagg was born February 25, 1929, passed away April 22, 2018.
He was a mechanic along side his dad at “Pete’s Tune-Up” in Sanger, then a diesel mechanic for Allen C. Haase Garage for many years.
Billy loved working on engines and race cars. He entered many races with his hardtop “Circle 9”.
Later in life he spent many hours helping construct a new building for “Calvary Fellowship Church” in Sanger. He was a member as well as a board member of the church.
Billy leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Gearldine Blagg, his son, Garry Blagg and wife Debbie, daughter Cheryl Jones and significant other Marty, 7 grandchildren and 12 great- grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Wallin Funeral Home, 1524 9th Street, Sanger, CA. Thursday, April 26th at 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
A grave side service will be held at Sanger Cemetery, Fri- day, April 27th, at 1:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Fel- lowship Church or your favorite charity.
