Lisa Lynneth Dale Berry was born in Fresno, California to Kenneth Charles and Marilyn Johnson Dale on September 27, 1960. Lisa went to be with her Lord on August 22, 2018 a er a lengthy battle with diabetes. Lisa attended Reedley High School and played clarinet all of her four years in the RHS Marching Band. Lisa was also active in the Reedley High Future Farmers of America. She held several o ces and competed on judging teams throughout the state. Lisa went on to attend Reedley College, graduating with an Associate’s Degree. Lisa had also worked for the Fresno County
Department of Agriculture.
Lisa married Robert Berry from Monson in 1990. Together
they enjoyed many years of hunting, shing, gardening, canning, car shows, and especially their “fur babies”. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Dale, and grandparents, George and Opal Johnson, and Lemuel and Florence Dale.Lisa is survived by her husband Rob Berry, in- laws Bob and Judy Berry, brother-in-law Kurt Berry and his wife Tammy, and their sons Austin and Branson, brother-in- law Bryant Berry and his wife Shelley, and their children Emily and Aaron. Also surviving is Lisa’s mother, Marilyn Johnson Dale, brother, Ken (K.C.) Dale Jr., his wife Robin Rogers-Dale, and their son Skyler, cousins Sue Ann Johnson, Doug Johnson, and his wife Susan, Laura Johnson, and her husband, Jim Montross, nephews Carson, Quinn, nieces, Becky, and Patty.
Remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Francisco Zavala Jr.
The holy rosary will be recited for Mr. Francisco Zavala Jr. of Clovis at 6 p.m. on Sept. 3 at Wallin's Sanger Funeral Home and a funeral mass will be celebrated for him at 10 a.m. on Sept. 4 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sanger.
Mr. Zavala, 57, died Aug. 24, 2018. He was a construction superintendent for Johnston Construction.
He is survived by brothers Joe Zavala and wife Debbie
of Clovis and Art Zavala of Clovis; sisters Emma Zavala of Fresno and Rosario Zavala of Texas; parents Francisco and Antonia Zavala of Clovis; nephews Joseph and Michael Zavala of Clovis, Nathan Ramirez of Fresno and Vincent Bustamante of New York; and niece Veronica Behringer of Clovis.
Mr. Zavala was preceded in death by his brother David Zavala.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Sept. 3 at the funeral home.

David Macias Jr.
David Macias Jr. 88 of Sanger passed away on July 28, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born December 28, 1929 in Troy, Texas, though he lived most of his life in California. He married Carmen Ma- drid on November 26, 1950 in a ceremony in Sanger.
David is a veteran of the Korean War and served in the United States Army from 1951 through 1953. He served in the Army as a reserve from 1953 through 1956. David worked as a farm labor contractor and foreman for Roy- al Madera Vineyard for over 20 years, until his retirement in
2003 at the age of 73.
David was an outstanding athlete and excelled in bowling,
golf, and pool, in which he won numerous trophies. Just a few months ago at the age of 88, David won another pool tourna- ment. David was known for his humor, generosity and the courage he displayed throughout his life. He enjoyed hanging out with friends.
David is survived by sons David Macias III, George Macias, Mark Macias and daughters Marlene Mabray, Shirley Macias, and Diana Copeland. His surviving siblings are Mario Macias, Albert Macias, Bertha Magdaleno, Maria Villareal, and Gloria Perez. He has 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Carmen Madrid Macias, daughter Loretta Macias, grandson Darrell Copeland III, and great grandson Ryder Brock Macias.
The family would like to thank Golden Living Center staff, espe- cially nurse Martha for her compassion and care, Hinds Hospice, Wallin Funeral Home, Wallin’s General Manager Erlinda Valdez, and Pastor Gilbert Montelongo from Tabernacle of Praise Chris- tian Center.
