Now that the weather is warming up, and espe- cially for those who live up in the mountains, fire officials said its impera- tive to create a 100 feet perimeter of defensible space around a home.
The House Fire in- cident was quickly con- tained, and thankfully the resident whom we visited had no damage to his home.
The weather is quick- ly heating up and with the very little rain we have had, it means that another long fire season awaits.
Let's do what we can to keep our homes and properties safe from wildfire. The Cal Fire website, fire.ca.gov, has plenty of useful informa- tion.
