Former teachers, current teachers, administrators and students gathered to celebrate the 100th year for Great Western School in Reedley. “So many of the people in the photo were teachers here and are just really invested in the school," said Lori Botkin, the school’s principal. Students at Jefferson Elementary in Reedley held up bags of produce during the school's food distribution event. The event was made possible through a number of grant programs. The grants, which provided fresh produce to families experiencing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were through a "Save the Children" program and a "No Kid Hungry" program.

Saturdays- Christ- mas Tree Recycling Program The city of Reedley is offering two types of Christmas tree disposal services. Op- tion one is cutting your tree into fragments and placing in the green waste can for collec- tion.
The second option is an event will take place every Saturday in January at the Reedley Sports Park located at 20399 E. Dinuba Avenue in Reedley from 8 a.m. to noon. Remember to
remove all the orna- ments and tinesel from your tree as well as the tree stand.
