"Buster is such a good boy," said Animal Control volunteer Kim Reed as she prepared to take Buster for a walk.
"He gets along well with other dogs, loves kids, doesn't chase cats and he's always in a good mood - especially when he gets to go for a car ride.
Buster is about 2 years old and he's already been
neutered and his shots are up to date. He's ready to go home with you.
Duchess is just a silly puppy.
Kim thinks Duchess is about 4-5 months old, maybe a mix of heeler and border collie.
She loves to play, take naps and be hugged.
Lucy is a high energy, very smart, very playful and loving Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix Rocky is a feisty little long haired chihuhua who thinks he's a lot bigger than he really is - and would
make a great watch dog.
JoJo, Lily and Mary and Jane are also still waiting
and hoping for a forever home.

Irazoqui at (559) 618-9071 to make an appointment to meet all the dogs living at the shelter. Mario will tell you how to get there.
Adoption only requires spaying/neutering and bringing the rabies shot up to date. The only charge is to the veterinarian, Gregory Saiki DVM.
Mario and Kim want to thank everyone who has donated to the shelter - and they are hoping some- one will donate a couple of large tarps that can be stretched over an outside play enclosure to provide shade when summer comes.

Weather for Apache Country
We should have great weather for the Memorial Day ceremony at Sanger Cemetery.
However, there will be some clouds tomorrow and maybe a shower or two on Saturday.
Daytime temperatures will climb into the high 90s next week and will stay there for awhile. So slather on some sunscreen and enjoy.
