NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sanger City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanger City Hall Council Chamber located at 1700 7th Street, Sanger, California, as part of the citizen participation process, to dis- cuss a possible application for a Grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce for Funding through the Economic Development Ad- ministration for the Construction of utility infrastructure in the North
Academy Area.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to consider an application for funding from the U.S. Department of Commerce through the Eco- nomic Development Administration for the Construction of utility infra- structure in the North Academy Area. Funding from this grant will al- low for the development of a new water well and of a sewer line from Quality Avenue to Academy Avenue and northbound to State Route 180. The project will also consider the development of additional water lines for the completion of a looped water system if necessary. Development of these utilities will provide services to future commer- cial development in the Academy Avenue area.
This meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of Para- graph 11 of the Governor’s Executive Order N-25-20 which suspends certain requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act, and as a response to mitigating the spread of COVID-19, the meeting will not be open to the public. NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DEC- LARATION ALTA AVENUE
(ROAD 80) AND NEBRASKA AVENUE (AVENUE 424) ROUNDABOUT PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Dinuba (City, Lead Agency) plans to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Alta Avenue (Road 80) and Nebraska Avenue (Avenue 424) Roundabout Project. The public hearing will be held by the City Council on December 8, 2020 at 6:30pm at City Hall located at 405 E. El Monte Way, Dinuba,
CA 93618.
The proposed project consists of constructing a single lane round- about at the intersection of Alta Avenue (Road 80) and Nebraska Avenue (Avenue 424). The project will include concrete curb and gut- ter, sidewalk, median islands, landscape and irrigation, storm drain facilities, and other miscellaneous street improvements. The project is located at the intersection of Alta Avenue (Road 80) and Nebraska Avenue (Avenue 424), in the City of Dinuba, within the County of Tulare.
Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), an Ini- tial Study/Negative Declaration has been prepared, describing the degree of potential environmental impacts of the proposed project. The City has assessed the potential environmental impacts of this proposed project and has determined that there will be no impact to the environment. Copies of the Initial Study and proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration are on  le for public review at (Public Works Department, 1088 E. Kamm Ave., Dinuba, CA 93618). The public re- view during which the City will receive comments on the Proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration will begin on October 29, 2020 and end on November 30, 2020. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DINUBA AMENDING THE ZONING OF PARCELS LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF EAST EL MONTE WAY BETWEEN THE EXISTING CITY LIMIT BOUNDARY AND ROAD 92
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DINUBA HEREBY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. FINDINGS.
(a) The City of Dinuba administers a Zoning Ordinance (Title 17 of the Dinuba Municipal Code), including a map that designates all parcels of land with speci c zoning classi cations for the purposes of facilitat- ing a well-planned City and to avoid land use con icts among other objectives.
(b) The City has initiated the annexation of nine parcels (and portions of parcels: APNs 013-090-023, 013-090-024, 013-090-039, 013-090- 040, 013-090-043, 013-090-044, 013-090-046, 013-090-049 and 013-090-050) containing approximately 8.5± acres along the north side of E. El Monte Way between the existing city boundary on the west and Road 92 on the east.
(c) The purpose of the zone change is to apply City zoning to the parcels upon their annexation.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty {30) days from and after its adoption. The foregoing Ordinance No. 2020-04 was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Dinuba on the 13th day of October, 2020, and adopted on the 28th day of October, 2020 by the following vote:
