A Parlier High School student was shot and killed while inside his home shortly before midnight on June 30. It's the second fatal shooting of a PHS student in 2022.
The boy later was identified as 15-year-old Anthony Garcia, who would have been a sophomore this coming fall at the school.
The Parlier Unified School District released a statement re- garding the teen’s death. In the statement, Garcia was described
as a caring student who was both com- passionate and funny.
The district also offered counseling for those who might need them.
