Fernando Prado, 21, of Cutler, was sentenced to 65 years-to-life in prison for murder.
According to a report from the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office, Prado previously pleaded guilty to first-degree premeditated murder with the special allegations of intentional use of a firearm causing great bodily injury for a gang and street terrorism, as well as shooting an occupied vehicle with special

More specifically, the doctors told her it was “inoperable Stage- 4 Adenocarcinoma of the lung.” Buller credits her faith for getting her through the darkest moments of her life in the hospital at that time.
Buller was recently put in contact with specialist at UC Davis. As for her latest update, Buller said, “On Feb. 1 I had a brain scan ... on the brain they stopped counting at 20 lesions. On March 1, they were gone. Right now, just last week, they did another test scan and they are reduced, most of them, by half ... There are some side effects,
but they are doing what they’re supposed to do.”
When asked about her testimony, Buller said, “I’ve gotten very positive feedback. A young man who has since passed away was at that speech... a week later he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and three weeks later he was dead. God knew he needed to hear that (testimony).”
Buller herself was previously involved in the Dinuba Relay For Life event, serving on the committee for about a decade and as co-chair in 2014 and 2015.

The beginning of the citrus bloom period for District 2 began on April 8. It was first declared by Tulare County Agricultural Commissioner Marilyn Wright on April 4.
All citrus growers, pest control operators and beekeepers must comply with the regulations covering the citrus/bee protection areas (sections 6654 and 6656, California Code of Regulations). The area within one mile of any citrus planting of one acre or more is designated as a citrus/ bee protection area
Wright said that during the ensuing days, Tulare County
Agricultural Commissioner personnel and members of the Citrus Bloom Advisory Committee will be checking citrus groves in Districts 1 and 2 to determine when 75 percent petal fall on the north side of trees will be reached. Information regarding the District Boundaries may be found at the Tulare County Agricultural Commissioner/ Sealer Website, agcomm. co.tulare.ca.us, under “Bloom Districts Map”. Anyone having questions regarding the bloom period or the citrus/ bee regulations should phone the Tulare County Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer at (559) 684-3352.
