After the Tulare County Sheriff's T.A.G.N.E.T. force conducted a county-wide sting last week, officers were able to make 31 arrests and take 15 guns off the street (above). Of the 31 arrests made in the sting operation, 14 were from the Dinuba and Cutler-Orosi area. Currently, investigators and forensic experts with the Tulare County Sheriff's Office are running tests on the seized guns to determine if they had been used in recent crimes.

Of the 31 arrests made in a recent sting conducted by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team (T.A.G.N.E.T.), 14 were from the Dinuba and Cutler-Orosi area.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s T.A.G.N.E.T. division conducted a Saturation/Gang Suppression detail, as well as Parole and Probation Compliance check from Friday, Dec. 28 through Tuesday, Jan. 1 throughout Tulare County. The sting resulted in detectives making 31 arrests taking 15 guns off the streets.
Among the arrested were the following suspects from the Dinuba and Cutler-Orosi area:
- Hector Vasquez, 21, of Dinuba was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for robbery.
- Marco Herrera, 24, of Dinuba was
arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for robbery.
- Jose Luna, 25, of Dinuba was arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for robbery.
- Gina Marquez, 48, of Orosi was arrested for possession of narcotics for sale.
- Angel Alacala, 43, of Cutler was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Lawrence Bierman, 35, from Dinuba was arrested for parole violation.
- Billy Heard, 53, from Dinuba was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
- Shannon Jacobson, 40, of Dinuba was arrested for Possession of narcotics.
- Ronald Taylor, 29, from Dinuba was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, parole violation & two arrest warrants for resisting arrest & brandishing a weapon.
- Juan Rivera, 18, from Dinuba was arrested for being a felon in possession of

- Miguel Fernandez, 21, of Orosi was
arrested on arrest warrant for illegal possession of marijuana.
- Johan Aguilar, 20, of Orosi was arrested on arrest warrant for violation of court order.
- Javier Ramos, 22, of Orosi was arrested on three arrest warrants for vandalism & resisting/obstructing an officer.
- A 17-year-old male from Orosi was also arrested during the sting on an arrest warrant for a stolen vehicle.
All individuals were booked into the Tulare County Adult Pretrial facility.

• Pete Preston Perez, 21, of Delano was booked on Jan. 1 on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, a felony, and vandalism, a misdemeanor.
Police say he was involved in a fight with a family member when he reportedly struck the victim in the head with a pair of pliers. He was later contacted in the 1100 block of 6th Street in Kingsburg, where he was placed under arrest. He was booked anc transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Henry Eliseo Renteria, 46, of Clovis was booked on Jan. 2 on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended license, both misdemeanors.
According to police, he was stopped in the 3000 block of South Crawford Avenue for a traffic violation. During the stop he was found to have a suspended license and was also reportedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested, booked at the Dinuba Police Department and later released with a citation.
• Jorge Luis Hernandez, 22, of Sultana was booked on Jan. 2 on suspicion of carjacking and robbery, both felonies.
Police say he was detained in the 700 block of West El Monte Way by two citizens after he attempted to carjack a victim a parking lot there. He was arrested, booked and then
transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility for housing.
• Juan Guadalupe Jauregui, 47, of Dinuba was booked on Jan. 2 on suspicion of battery to a spouse, ex-spouse or date, a misdemeanor.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of North Lyndsay Way to check the welfare of a juvenile. Upon investigation, officers discovered a verbal disturbance that led to the suspect allegedly pushing his wife. He was arrested, booked and then transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Omar Cuevas Zuloaga, 45, of Reedley was booked on Jan. 2 on suspicion of vehicle theft, receiving known stolen property, evading police officers, and conspiracy to commit a crime, all felonies. He was also booked on suspicio of shoplifting and driving without a license, both misdemeanors.
Police say he and another suspect fled Walmart after they stole property there. Zuloaga was reportedly the driver of the vehicle the two suspects drove away in. When officers responded, he allegedly failed to yield when police attempted to stop him. While attempting to flee police officers, he crashed the vehicle into a ditch just outside of town. The vehicle he was driving reportedly ended up being a stolen vehicle out of another city.
He was injured as a result of
the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. He was later booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility for housing.
• Michael Anthony Gonzalez, 28, of Selma was booked on Jan. 2 on suspicion of vehicle theft, receiving known stolen property, evading police officers and conspiracy to commit a crime, all felonies, and shoplifting, a misdemeanor.
According to police, he was the passenger in a vehicle that fled Walmart after stealing property there. The vehicle he was traveling in was reported stolen out of another city and ended up crashing after a vehicle pursuit with Dinuba Police officers. He was injured as a result of the crash and was transported to Kaweah Delta Community Hopital for treatment. He was later booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility for housing.
• Pedro Antonio Alvarado, 35, of Reedley was booked on Jan. 4 on suspicion of vandalism and trespassing, both misdemeanors.
Police say he cut the lock to a gate at a business in the 200 block of South Uruapan Drive and gained access to a tow yard. Once inside he reportedly attempted to take his own vehicle but was contacted by officers before he could leave. He was booked and released with a citation.

• Manuel Medina Villagomez, 22, of Dinuba was booked on Jan. 5 on suspicion of vehicle theft and attempting to receive stolen property, both felonies, and driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor.
According to police, he was observed taking a vehicle and officers arrested him in the 700 block of West El Monte Way. He was found to be driving the stolen vehicle with a suspended license. He was booked into the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
