Invitation to Bid
The Board of Trustees of Cutler-Orosi Joint Uni ed School District of Tulare County in California invites and will receive sealed proposals for site work related to a portable building and fencing for a base- ball and softball  eld located at Orosi High School at 41815 Road 128 Orosi CA. 93647. Quali ed contractors may bid on one or both packets. The School District will receive the bids up to but no later than 10:00 a.m. on the 27th of December 2018.Thereafter sealed bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Contractors must follow all California public work prevailing wage laws. Bids shall be valid for 60 calendar days after the bid opening date. All bids shall be delivered to the Cutler- Orosi Joint Uni ed School District of ce located at 12623 Avenue 416, Orosi CA 93647. Time frame and speci cations of the project will be attached to the bid form available electronically by contacting the of ce of Teter Architect at (559) 625-5246 or at the address: 1200 Discovery Drive Suite 160 Bakers eld, CA. 93309.
Bids must be accompanied by a cashier’s check, or a Bid Bond in favor of the District in a amount not less than ten (10%) of the sub- mitted total bid price of the bidder’s category. Successful bidders will comply with all California public labor laws regarding prevailing wage and bonding requirements the board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Pursuant to Section Code 5091 of the Government Code the Public is noti ed of the Provisional Appointment of Delia Martinez to the Cutler- Orosi Joint Uni ed School District Board of Trustees to  ll the Vacancy for Trustee Area 3, which was vacated by former Trustee Eddie Valero
on December 6, 2018.  is appointment was made at the recent Regular/ Annual Organizational Meeting of the Board of Trustees with a unani- mous vote on  ursday, December 13, 2018. Unless a petition calling for a special election, containing a su cient number of signatures, is  led in the o ce of the County Superintendent of Schools with-in 30 days of the date of the provisional appointment, the appointment is fully e ective and all powers and duties of a governing board member upon the aforementioned appointee are conferred.

NOTICE REGARDING PREQUALIFICATION FOR CUTLER-OROSI JOINT UNIFIEDSCHOOL DISTRICT Notice is hereby given by Cutler-Orosi Joint Uni ed School District
(“District”) that general contractors, mechanical, electrical and plumb- ing subcontractors planning to submit a bid or proposal for qualify- ing District projects (each a “Project”) in the twelve months follow- ing prequali cation will be required to prequalify pursuant to Public Contract Code § 20111.6 prior to bidding or submitting a proposal. Prequali cation application packages are available on the District’s website or at the District Of ce located at: 12623 Avenue 416 Orosi CA, 93647. Prequali cation application packets must be completed and returned to the District’s of ce no later than 2:00 p.m. on January 3rd, 2019. Packets received after January 3rd will be processed for future Board approval.
The prequali cation packet includes a questionnaire and a  nancial information sheet, to be veri ed under oath. The District will use the information and documentation required in the packet to prequalify general contractors, mechanical, electrical and plumbing subcontrac- tors in accordance with applicable law.
