Mark Andrew Ysusi
November 5, 1946 - April 25, 2019
Mark Andrew Ysusi went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully on April 25, 2019 in Fresno Ca. is was a signi cant day in his family’s lives, as his mother Nadine Ysusi, passed exactly three years prior. Mark was battling health issues, but was ready to take them on with that ghting spirit we all knew and admired. His passing came as a shock
to his family as they were preparing to welcome him home.
Mark was the rst son born to Pete and Nadine Ysusi and grew up in Dinuba. e family
would welcome Marks only brother, David, whom still resides in Dinuba. He attended Dinuba schools and graduated from Dinuba High School in 1964. Mark excelled academically and played sports all throughout school. During his younger years, most summers were spent with his father, Pete, helping with the family farm in Hanford. It was during those years where he spent his most memorable times with his father and learned
to irrigate and drive tractors. He spent summers working
and playing alongside his many cousins at his Grandpa and Grandma Richards house right here on Kamm Ave. ese days would o en nd Mark and his brother Dave, playing baseball or shing till dusk.
Mark graduated from San Jose State University with an En- gineering degree and worked in the Bay Area while becoming a Senior Civil Engineer. He would return to Dinuba in the late 1970’s to serve as the Dinuba City Engineer. Mark was an ex- pert in all aspect of his eld including Water treatment designs, which took him overseas to Cairo Egypt where he worked for
2 years in the 90’s. Mark was still actively working as a Civil Engineer until he passed. He simply loved his job and was very good at it.
He married his wife, Sandra Yeager, in 1966 and they resided in or around Dinuba nearly their entire marriage. Mark had two children, whom he was extremely proud and loved dearly. He has 6 grandchildren each of whom had a close personal lov- ing relationship with.
Mark is preceded in death by his father and mother, Pete and Nadine Ysusi. He is survived by his two children, Crystol Ysu- si Springer of Fresno and Matt Ysusi of Dinuba. Additionally, his son in law, Michael Springer of Fresno. He has six grand- children, Haylee Springer, Cody Springer, Mackenzie Springer, Hannah Ysusi, Noah Ysusi and Sarah Ysusi all of Fresno. He is also survived by his only brother David Ysusi, and sister in law Rhonda of Dinuba.
Mark loved many things in this life. Being a husband, father and grandfather were the greatest gi s he ever knew. He loved his only sibling and best friend David. He loved the Lord and knew the Bible front to back. He was a teacher of the word and his favorite scriptures came from Psalms and Proverbs. Mark would love family time. He loved to travel but really wanted
to spend most of his time at his home on the central coast. He also dreamed of taking his family back to Spain, a place where his family is rooted. Mark loved people and he quickly became a very special person in nearly every life he touched. In the last years he found a new best friend, in a white furball he called Hudson. He o en spoke about how he knew God would bring Hudson to heaven one day..... Because he couldn’t be without him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 6 from 1 to 8 p.m. at Dopkins Funeral Chapel. Memorial Service will be on Tuesday,
May 7th at 11 a.m. First Baptist Church in Dinuba.
