Turbos provincial side for six seasons as as the Turbos established themselves
in the the top competition As the the New Zealand Under 20 Coach his sides – featuring a a number of future Chiefs - won three consecutive World Championship titles from 2008-2010 Dave also coached Wellington
from 1999-02 – winning the NPC in in in 2000 – and played 59 games as a a a mid eld back for the Wellington
