Prong Croft Trial Review
I was able to trial a Prong Croft tool in my garden this year.
It was easy to use, lightweight with a very comfortable Ash handle, but sturdy too.
The angle of the polished stainless steel prongs gave me
good control and leverage, and it was easy to clean after use. It was brilliant for weeding around my plants and owers without damaging their roots, particularly between rows of vegetables in my vegetable plot, whilst saving time on going around plants and preventing soil compaction. Stones didn’t get stuck between the prongs either.
I trialled the short-handled version, but the medium one would be great for raised beds, planters and patio pots, and the long- handled one ideal for allotments and able to prevent having to bend. I was very impressed with it, and will be buying the long- handled version for weeding my rose beds, as it will prevent me having to bend.
Prong Croft is a well-priced quality tool that you should seriously consider adding to your collection.
