South West
Judges
It has been a good year in the South West. We have three new judges in Plymouth, and the NAS is in the midst of putting together a new lea et on how to put on a show. To this end we will have a list of judges and speakers on the website to assist anyone wishing to put one on.
If you are a judge or a speaker and would like to be on the list please send your details to Di Appleyard or Head Of ce. This in no way takes away from the NVS or RHS, who have lists of their own judges who are very well quali ed, but in the South West as with

many rural areas, it comes down to the vet or the vicar. Anyone wanting to put on a judge’s exam in their area please contact me or the of ce.
We hope to run a Flower Judging exam in Plymouth in late summer 2018. If you live in the area and would like to take the exam, contact me in writing ASAP. The exam uses the RHS horticultural show handbook, 8th edition, revised in 2016.
