2011 also saw Mark Oaten step down as Director of Communications to be replaced by Lord Chris Rennard, former Chief Executive of the Liberal Democrats. Mark said of Chris: “His skills as a campaigner and his contacts and knowledge around Westminster will bring enormous value to the BHTA.”
