Following all the excitement of Harvest
in October, we turn to Remembrance in November. We will be holding Remembrance Day services in all our churches this month, welcoming the Royal British Legion, Thrapston Town Band, members of Thrapston Town Council and local uniformed groups to the service in St James on Sunday 12th November at 3pm. Meet outside the Plaza at 2.30pm if you’d like to be part of the parade.
On Saturday 25th November we will be holding a craft event in church as part of Thrapston Christmas Lights Festival. Come into church between 10am and 4pm to create cards, decorate candles, make table centres,
sew decorations and more. There will be a
small charge for some activities but all plenty for children to do that is completely free. Refreshments available all day. We look forward to seeing you. Card payments now available.
Praise and Play welcome under-fives and their grown-ups into St James Church on Monday mornings from 9am-10.30am.Look for the flag and come on in. Saturday 4th November the Indoor Craft Market will meet in St James Hall from 9am-1pm. Saturday Coffee each week from 10am-12noon. Tuesday Together Come along for a cuppa between 10am and 12noon, there is also a Tuesday morning Communion Service starting at 9.45am. Knitting for Beginners meets on Monday evenings from 6.30-8.00pm in St James, Thrapston. It’s free. No need to book just come along.

During Sunday services in St James, Thrapston, we run JAMES Club and JAMES Club Plus for primary school age children. Our Youth Bible study group for those in secondary school meets during the services on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month. New members and visitors are always welcome. There are toys and activities too for pre-school children who stay in the service with their families.
Denford Holy Trinity Church
Coffee is now available before each service at 10.45am, except for the Remembrance Service.
We held a lovely Harvest Festival Service, enhanced of course by the choir! The generous produce received was auctioned off, by the always entertaining, Andrew Wager, the following day, at our annual Harvest Supper. The proceeds of the auction enabled the village to support Water Aid with over £600. Our thanks, as always to everyone who helped to make the evening such a success!!!

December 1st & 2nd Denford Thespians will be performing their version of a Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Tickets available shortly!
