Thrapston Peace Park Project – £45,000 through FCC Communities Foundation
Christmas Toy Project – £1,000 from Western Power In This Together Community Matters Festive Fund
Peace Park Under 5s Play Area - £10,000 from East Northamptonshire Council Community Facilities Fund
Funders always ask, ‘who will benefit from this money?’ It is vitally important we have statistics such as Census data to support our applications. Please support Thrapston and complete the Census.
    2021 Census
What’s this Census I keep hearing about?
The Census happens once in a blue moon. Well, once in a decade to be precise. The next one happens in March 2021. The Census is how the Office for National Statistics (ONS) collects detailed information about our society. Everyone in the country will be asked the same questions.
Why should I bother?
Census data is used to plan and fund public services in our area, including education and healthcare.
The data is used by Councils (like us), charities and other non-profit groups to prove why project funding is needed.
It is your legal obligation to complete the Census. You could be fined up to £1,000 if you don’t.
A grand? Okay, you’ve convinced me. What now?
The form will be digital; ONS will send you an access code and instructions on what to do. People who need a paper copy will be able to get one.
94% of the population completed the 2011 Census. Help make 2021 a record breaker.
Be counted; complete the Census.
