Volunteer Action
Volunteer Action is a local charity supporting local residents who may be elderly, unwell, disadvantaged or have disabilities. By providing services to these valuable community members, our aim is to maintain independence and improve the quality of their lives.
The Volunteer Action car scheme is run by volunteers within the community of Oundle, Thrapston and the surrounding 45 parish
councils – we provide a driving service for medical trips to the elderly or vulnerable – in addition to a newly launch Befriending scheme that is designed to help combat loneliness.
