                                RE-USE & RE-LOVE
Repair Cafe
The Oundle Repair Cafe goes from strength to strength – since re-launching last April, the group have managed to repair more than 100 items, ranging from clocks to bicycles, from old radios to children’s chairs, and from clothes to old train sets and clockwork toys
– making many people very happy. The Cafe also offers a sharpening service, ensuring those knives and shears are earning their keep.
In the process, they have saved more than 250kg of landfill, thus fulfilling one of their main objectives of repairing and recycling things, rather than seeing them thrown away.
They also have delicious cakes on offer, along with tea and coffee - so you can enjoy refreshments whilst you wait.
The Repair Cafe doesn’t charge, though asks for donations to help them run the next Cafe.
The next Cafe is on 15th April at Fletton House in Oundle, between 2pm and 5pm, with last appointments at 4.30pm.
If you want to be included, please email them at repaircafe@transitionondle.org.uk – and they’ll get back to you.
