Mercy in Action
Mercy in Action began working with marginalised communities in the Philippines nearly 30 years ago. Since then, we have grown to be a charity focused on tackling poverty, injustice and inequality, both in the Philippines and the UK.

In the Philippines, we have several children’s homes for children rescued from abuse, neglect and trafficking. In the UK, our work focuses around supporting families facing food and housing insecurity.

The shop is always in need of donations and volunteers. So if you can spare an item or your time, pop down and speak to a member of our team. The shop is open Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm.

of our work. We provide thousands of meals every week to enable children to grow and thrive, and to relieve the financial burden that many families are under.
Our projects are supported by our network of over 20 charity shops around the UK. Our shop in Thrapston is one of our stunning boutique charity shops. The shop is fortunate to receive
