THE PURE FLOYD SHOW
What’s the best thing about your job?
Feedback from happy people who have attended the concerts. We have only had four to date but so far the feedback from the attendees, and in fact the bands, has been wonderful!
Who is your favourite band past or present?
My favourite band of all time is Genesis and I am also a massive fan of Elvis Presley – my Mother’s influence.
What genres of music appear at the gigs? We are endeavouring to feature many genres and
so far it has ranged from pop to rock. We love folk and traditional music and have lined up some great artists in 2022. In particular, we are very pleased to have a provisional booking with the Scottish band Talisk in November 2022.
The Soundle event is shaping up to be multi genre and we have acts booked ranging from traditional Irish, folk but mostly rock. All are artists playing their own original music.
THE SOUNDLE WEEKEND: June 17-19 2022
Tickets for all these gigs are available For more news check the from: www.wegottickets.com VICSGIGS Facebook Page

The headline act for The Soundle will be The Martin Barre Band. Martin was the lead guitarist with Jethro Tull and we are super excited that he will bring his band as part of their global tour.
What’s your hope for the future of the business? Our hope is a simple one! We hope that we can make live music a regular feature
in Oundle and that we can fully establish The Queen Victoria Hall as a go to venue on the UK concert circuit. Just Jake has played at one of the concerts as support and Stevie Jones from Peterborough will play support at the first gig back on September 4.
Who inspires you? Now I’m retired, most of my inspiration comes from my Grandchildren, and my wife. I always try to make sure there is plenty of music in the Grandchildren’s lives, as my Mum did for me!
