How would you best describe the type of cuisine that you offer? Good quality pub grub. We use local suppliers and keep everything cheap and cheerful with a few à la carte options.
What’s the best selling dish on your menu?
It would have to be our homemade burgers! Topped with bacon, cheddar, lettuce, tomato and gherkins.
...a drink to accompany it? One of our new installs, Madri, which is an exceptional pint!
Where do you source your ingredients? All our ingredients are sourced locally. Our meat comes from Trendalls in Oundle, and all our fresh fruit and vegetables are delivered daily.
Can your premises be hired out for private parties? Yes, we have a semi-private room as well as the rest of our pub.
senior citizens lunch from 12-2pm Wednesday to Friday where a 2 course meal is only £14.95. We have fish and chip Fridays, which comes with a free pint or glass of wine for £12.
We also have steak night every Thursday from 5pm, 2 x 10oz ribeyes, with all the trimmings and a bottle of wine for £39.95.
Are you open every day? We are open 12- 2pm and 5-9pm. On Sundays it’s 12-5pm and we remain closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Reserve a table or just walk in? We accept bookings through email, Facebook or by telephone, but we do also accept walk ins.
What’s the highlight of your day? The highlight of our day is making customers happy and giving them the best dining experience we can, especially when we see them again!
