Fun activities for little ones – Praise and Play have it covered...
February 2021 saw the launch of Praise
and Play Online. This is a really relaxed online Zoom gathering, planning to meet every Monday during term time from 2.00 – 3.00pm and aiming to give you some weekly support at home with your little one and some fun Bible activities to enjoy together. Members were delighted to receive a starter goody bag with lots of play materials that can be used over and over again. Our first goody bag was all about Jonah and we
read the story of Jonah together as well as making a fabulous, sparkly, blue whale.
Don’t worry if your little one is still napping when the session starts either... just log
in and say hello or join the group once they’re awake. And why not watch one of our TDI Churches Online Services from the website too? www.tdichurches.co.uk. On the first Sunday of each month there is an Online Family Service that even includes our much-loved puppet friend, Wendy. And the service on 7th February was all about Jonah! So you could find out even more about this fascinating and encouraging book of the Bible. Finally, a big “thank you” to Jolly’s
APPEAL
We are going to start preparing things for this year’s Shoebox Appeal. We hope to send some boxes after Easter – as we can send all year round now.
We thought we would start with stationery packs – so if anyone has coloured pencils, rubbers, pencil sharpeners to donate – that would be great. We have pencils and pens.
We also need small cars, dolls, small stuffed toys, small games, tennis balls all year round, so if you are having a lockdown clear out – please think of us.
Items can be left by back gate at 10 Heron Ave, Thrapston.
