Thrapston was
granted a Market
Charter in 1205 by
King John and has
celebrated this market
status with a fair
every year on the last
Saturday in June since 1991, with only two cancellations – 1998 due to flooding and 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year Thrapston Charter Fair will take place on Saturday 29th June and we are looking forward to a great day!
It would be great if members of the community could help, particularly with the tidying up after the fair at 5.30pm. Come along to the main stage and there will be plenty to do!

Thrapston Charter Fair really does need you!
Playing this year at Thrapston Charter Fair – The Reggaelators are a popular reggae band from Birmingham. Specialising in the original sounds of reggae and Jamaican Ska, this band are a must see! The band has been playing a mixture of popular tunes from the likes of Bob Marley, Desmond Dekker, Toots & the Maytals, John Holt (and many, many more) for the last fifteen years, and guarantee a great vibe.
