SANDHURST
On Friday the 11th December 2020, Jack Goode, a former Cadet RSM of Yorkshire (North & West) ACF, passed out from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
Less than 18 months after completing his time as a cadet with Yorkshire (N&W) ACF, Jack completed his officer training and has now become a commis- sioned officer in the Regular Army. 2Lt Goode is now serving with the Royal Logistics Corps.

It has been a very challenging year but, despite this, the members of Yorkshire (N&W) ACF have achieved great things. This is because we have adapted our method of attack and overcome all obstacles. As a result, our County remains a force to be reckoned with.
I know you will agree with me now more than ever that, as members of the ACF and the wider Army family, we must not lose sight of who we are and what we are part of. Our regimental affiliations remain valid and we must uphold our values at all times.
Work hard, work for each other and let's "Get on Parade" in a very big way in 2021.
Have a safe and Happy Christmas.
See you all soon.
P.S. Don’t forget: Courage (particularly Moral Courage),
Discipline, Respect for Others, Integrity, Loyalty, Discipline and Selfless Commitment.

DofE Award for AUO Charlotte Lowther
B Company's AUO Charlotte Lowther was attending the virtual ACF DofE Conference in her capacity as B Company's DofE Officer when she received a very pleasant surprise! She also had her achievements recognised in that morning's ceremony because of
her 'innovative ideas' and 'outstanding commitment to the DofE in the ACF'.
County DofE Officer, Captain Kriz Cole (who watched the ceremony) said, " One hundred conference
participants from across the UK had the pleasure this morning of watching these presentations. Sgt Nelson was
a joint winner of the Gerrish award for outstanding volun- teering, alongside a member of 1 NI Bn ACF. Listening to the citations, they are both very worthy winners of this prestigious award. As the County DofE Officer, I am extremely proud of Sgt Nelson's commitment to her volunteering.
AUO Lowther was presented with a certificate of recognition for her work within DofE. Her service to the DofE at B Company has been exemplary, and she is a very worthy recipient of this certificate."
