involved with. In addition, this summer promises to be especially busy with Armed Forces Day in Scarborough and the return to annual camps and many other events which we have missed for too long. Of note will be camps at RAF Cranwell, RAF Shawbury and the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) for the Air Cadets, whilst the Army Cadets will be attending their own Annual Camps, and the Sea Cadets will be back on the water in as many locations as possible. It is trusted that both cadets and their adult volunteers enjoy the camps as much as in the past and give the cadets “The Cadet Experience” again and in full.
Some camps and events have already taken place and in this edition there are super stories of overseas exercises in Cyprus, camps at RAF Lossiemouth, skiing in Scotland and many more. It is also really positive
to see that sporting events have taken place across Yorkshire and the Humber.
Please continue to send, high quality stories and pictures in for the magazine, which makes for excellent reading material, not just around Yorkshire and the Humber, but nationally. A plea though, do look closely at the quality of the pictures being sent with stories; many have been rejected as they were of poor quality or content and would detract from what would otherwise be good contributions. Keep sending your stories and do please note the copy dates below and the guidance notes on submission of articles.
