                                       • Class 1 top of the leaderboard are Branda J and Hot Pursuit.
• Class 2 top of the leaderboard are Moondog, So and Mist.
• So it is all to play for with the rest of the DH Solent series that will run in the Autumn.
• Class 3 top of the leaderboard is Magec.
The Passage series of Double Handed racing got underway on 13th May with the Weymouth Double.
The race to Weymouth was held in good conditions and this year the racing fleet all stopped over in Portland Marina for a well earned supper and social.
• Class 1 was won by Dave Stott in his Dufour 40, Azygos.
• Class 2 was won by Mark Watkins in his Sigma 33, Spirit of Kudu.
• Class 3 was won by Bill West in his Elan E5, Fizz(55)
The race back to Southampton was
abandoned due to no wind plus fog.
The next Passage Series in our calendar
was the Island Double held on the August Bank Holiday weekend. This is the 43rd time this race has been run! It is our most popular Double Handed race with 41 entries. The race saw some fast timings in all classes.
In Class 1, Graham Deegan’s Farr 30, Akarana4 beat Ray Crouch’s Adams 10 R, Boomerang by just over a minute on corrected time!
