As this edition goes to print we are almost at the two year point since all members of the Cadet Forces had to learn a completely new way of delivering training to their adults and cadets and what a splendid job they have managed to both keep the
services for many years to come. In addition to this role he was also a former Commandant of Yorkshire (North and West) ACF and RFCA Vice Chairman; he will be sadly missed
by his many friends, not only in the county, but nationally too. Our sincere

the individual forces have been able
to deliver high quality training, in
and outdoors and it is heartening to see the number of cadets and adult volunteers who have taken part in Adventure Training of one form or another. This will, no doubt, stand all those who participated in good stead in the future and may lead to more qualified and experienced instructors able to take Adventure Training to new levels.
In early December the region lost a long standing supporter of cadet force activities when Colonel Alan Roberts died. Alan was a huge supporter of the cadets across Yorkshire and the Humber, and was the last surviving founder member of the Yorkshire Cadet Trust, where his legacy will live on to support cadets from all three

Please continue to send, high quality stories and pictures in for the magazine, which makes for excellent reading material, not just around Yorkshire and the Humber, but nationally. A plea though, do look closely at the quality of the pictures being sent with stories; many have been rejected as they were of poor quality or content and would detract from what would otherwise be good contributions. Keep sending your stories and do please note the copy dates below and the guidance notes on submission of articles.
