• We welcome photos to accompany your article, please do try and provide two to three good quality images along with the text for your article.
• Thumbnail images taken from the internet will not be suitable for print.
• Please do not embed your images into a Word document.
• Permission and copyright: It is the responsibility of you, as the author of your submission, to have obtained the permission of individuals appearing in photographs and that copyright fees, where applicable, have been paid.
Additional general guidance:
• All submissions must be typewritten and sent via email.
• Please limit to approx 600.
• Article text should be contained within a word
document. Document name to be the title of the
article.
• When submitting your article please include your
full name, rank (if applicable) and contact details.
• If using abbreviations for units or organizations etc.,
please write the title out in full, the first time the
initials are used.
• Contributors are respectfully reminded that articles
should be written in a style that is compatible with ease of reading for a wide range of readers. Jargon, slang and military report style writing should be avoided.

The Association reserves the right to edit articles and reject those unsuitable.

The Gazette is your magazine.
Your contributions are most welcome and greatly appreciated but... please ensure that you provide hi res photos (thumbnail images pulled from the internet are not good enough quality for print). Add photo captions too – we all enjoy reading your articles so it would be great to know who is who and where the photo was taken!

Yes! Please provide the largest, clearest images you have.
If you increase the size of a small image on your screen and it looks like the bottom right image (above), they will not be suitable for print.
