Magazine submissions
Text:
• All submissions must be typewritten and
sent preferably by email.
• Please limit article to no more than 400
words with one image (Jpg) or 700-1000 words with 2 -3 images (Jpg
Articles are to be emailed separately from your photos.
• Article text should be contained within a word document (for example: myarticle. doc/ myarticle.docx) and included as an attachment to your email.
• When submitting your article please include your full name, rank (if applicable) and contact details.
• If using abbreviations for units or organizations etc, please write the title out in full for the first time the initials are used.
• Contributors are respectfully reminded that articles should be written in a style that is compatible with ease of reading for a wide range of readers. Jargon, slang and military report style writing should be avoided.
Photos and Images:
• Photographs are welcomed, please
provide with captions where applicable.
• Ideally photos/ images should be of
good resolution (300 dpi) and emailed along with your article as separate tiff or jpeg files.
• Photos/ images taken from the internet are not acceptable.
• Please do not embed your images into a word document.
• Permission and copyright: It is the responsibility of you, as the author of your submission, to have obtained the permission of individuals appearing in photographs and that copyright fees, where applicable, have been paid.
